Description:

It measures about 18 cm. The plumage is all blast of dark gray. The striking feature of this species is the reddish brown of the upper base of the tail and edges of the caudal feathers.

Habitat:

It can be found in the United States to Argentina. This bird lives in riparian forests, savannas and dry forests. Colonizes urbanized areas with good afforestation. Performs seasonal migrations throughout its distribution, moving to lower latitudes in winter.
