Spotted Bush Snake

Philothamnus Semivariegatus

Description:

Beautifully coloured and non venomous, this slender snake is a fantastic climber and most often found in the trees where it uses its large eyes to hunt for lizards and tree frogs. Coincidently, a lizard chased this snake out of the tree shortly after these photos.

Habitat:

Common throughout the bushveld mainly in trees.
