LadyBug

Hippodamia sp.

Notes:

Many large clusterings of Lady Bugs at the summit of Job Peak in the Stillwater Range East of Fallon, NaV. They did not appear on any of the adjacent peaks that we summited, nor anywhere else in the mountain valley. If you walked 15 feet away from the very center of the peak they vanished.

I can tell you that these most resemble Lady Beetles from genus Hippodamia. I am not finding an identified match on Bug Guide, but there is at least one that is identified to genus from Nevada. You can put them as Hippodamia sp. (in the scientific name section) if you like.
