Balistoides viridescens
Grows to about 75 cm long and is one of the largest of triggerfish species. It is active during day and feeds on sea urchins, molluscs, crustaceans, tube worms and coral. Very often you can see it turning stones and digging in the sand searching for food. During reproducing season females guarding nest may be aggressive. They will protect nest even from much larger species. It happens for them to attack snorkelers and scuba divers. They are not venomous but big teeth can give nasty bite and very often visit to the doctor may be necessary.
Found in lagoons and reefs of tropical waters in most of the Indo-Pacyfic.
Other names are: giant triggerfish or moustache triggerfish
