Shaun the Sheep, Sap-Sucking Slug

Description:

This Nudibranch is fondly nicknamed 'Shaun the Sheep' for its likeness to Sheeps. They are very tiny, 2-3mm in size, in fact, its hardly possible to see with your naked eyes the details of this Nudibranch, you just see a green blotch on the green algae. It is only through the camera that you can see and appreciates the details of pink in their cerata, black rhinopores and the tiny eyes. Costasiella kuroshimae is a species of sacoglossan sea slug, a shell-less marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusk in the family Costasiellidae. It has the ability to incorporate chloroplasts from the algae it feeds on into its body and use them to do photosynthesis.

Habitat:

Found in shallow waters around 5-8 meters, usually in sandy bottom on a specific algae (looks like a leaf)
