Description:

Mottled brown and gray 4-6 inches long sparrow-like bird with dark pink or "wine-colored" head, throat and shoulders, black eyes and off-pink feet.

Habitat:

Pacific Northwest mixed deciduous and coniferous forest.

Notes:

Spotted on a feeder outside the window of a restaurant. Imaged through the window. Also classified as Carpodacus mexicanus.
