Spotting

Description:

This beautiful reptile came off as the winner from whatever altercation caused the wound on its neck! Any help is appreciated!

Habitat:

Sitting in this tree along the edge of the rice field at Phnom Kroum, near Siem Reap.

Notes:

The location shown on the map is not the actual place. I was told the area was Phnom Kroum but we were not at the pagoda or temple or even around houses but I think this is closer than Siem Reap city!

The spines on the neck don't look like C. versicolor to me. I'm not 100% certain of my suggestion (C. emma) because of the absence of long spines behind the eye. But there are other examples, like this one: https://www.flickr.com/photos/itchydogim...
