This beautiful reptile came off as the winner from whatever altercation caused the wound on its neck! Any help is appreciated!


Sitting in this tree along the edge of the rice field at Phnom Kroum, near Siem Reap.


The location shown on the map is not the actual place. I was told the area was Phnom Kroum but we were not at the pagoda or temple or even around houses but I think this is closer than Siem Reap city!

The spines on the neck don't look like C. versicolor to me. I'm not 100% certain of my suggestion (C. emma) because of the absence of long spines behind the eye. But there are other examples, like this one:
