Green Frog Tadpoles

Description:

The first photo shows a tadpole gulping in air. As they develop and get close to developing legs,tadpoles no longer simply breathe with gills, but they also start surfacing to breathe air. In the photo, you can see its tiny mouth wide open as it gulps in air.

There were tons of tadpoles in this pond! They were feasting on water plants and algae.
