Hi 21jwest! This does not appear to be Argiope aurantia. If you don't know the species, you can just leave the name fields blank and check the box that says "Help me ID this species" and then hopefully someone can weigh in. However, usually with spiders we would need to see some closer photos and/or photos from other angles to get a positive ID.
