Narrow-lined puffer

Arothron manilensis

Description:

Up to 31 cm length. Oval shape, relatively elongated. The background coloration is whitish to grey with dark brown horizontal lines, all the fins are yellowish and semi-translucide except the caudal fin which is opaque and outlined with black. Black blotch more or less circular at the base of the pectoral fin. The iris is also yellowish.

Habitat:

Lankayan Wreck dive site, Lankayan I., Sabah, Malaysia.

The dive site and the island of Lankayan it is still in Borneo, Malaysia. But is in the North East of the island so it is indeed very close to the outh of Philippines and the species are in many cases the same as I already saw in the Philippines :-)
