Description:

Yet another species of carnivorous plant at this park. They trap their prey on their leaves with sticky glands, as you can see in photo 3. This one was in full bloom, but it looked like an insect ate some of the petals. You can see one of these flowers in good condition here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/124...

Grassy area with wet soil at Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park
