the bigger one here was chasing the little one and dancing I have had these ID'ed as Western Fence, and coastal Fence and San Joaquin fence... ???????

Yes that is bordering on San Joaquin, Coastal and Northwestern. Western is more like a generic name. Best answers is leave it at Western or contact CaliforniaHerps and get their advice.
