Description:

The Forest White, Appias aegis illana C. & R. Felder 1862 (Pieridae; Pierinae). A. e. illana is one of the 4 Forest White ssps. occurring in the Philippines. This particular ssp. is distributed in Luzon islands, and some Visayan islands like Negros, Cebu, Bohol, and Biliran.

Habitat:

Spotted mudpuddling along the bank of a stream traversing the Binictican forest trail located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Hermosa Bataan.
