Merismodes anomala

Description:

Very tiny, cup-shaped fungi. The outer surface was brown and looked textured. The inner surface was white/cream and smooth. They were 1mm in size or less.

Habitat:

Growing on rotting wood in a mostly deciduous forest.

Notes:

This is the first spotting of this species on Project Noah.
