Notodontid caterpillar

Schizura sp.

Braconid wasps lay their eggs in the body of caterpillars. When the wasp's larvae eclode, they eat the caterpillar from inside, until they are ready to pupate. Then, they leave the caterpillar's body, and imediately cover themselves with silk, assuming that foamy appearence. Soon they will come out as adult wasps.
