Description:

Dorcadion is a genus of longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae family) of the subfamily Lamiinae. In the Greek region of Thessaloniki are present almost 5 different very similiar species of Dorcadion (Including Dorcadion majoripenne and Dorcadion propinquum). A genus with several taxonomic disputes, very difficult to discriminate between very similar species without anatomical study of male genitalia.

Habitat:

Spotted in a forest road of Seih-Sou, the suburban forest of Thessaloniki, Greece.
