Eastern Blue-Tongue Lizard

Tiliqua scincoides

Description:

Large skink, heavy, low slung body with short legs and in this case, a stumpy tail re growing. Mid grey banded with darker grey, pale yellow cream underside, distinct blue tongue.

Habitat:

This was found warming itself near a log under a shrub in a semi arid, partially cultivated garden (open range zoo surrounds).
