Family Hersiliidae, Hersilia sp.

Description:

A perfectly camouflaged Hersilia seen in the night, hunting. It remains completely still and waits for the prey to approach. The Hersilia (or long-spinnered bark spiders) are a genus in the Hersiliidae family. They are sometimes known as two-tailed spiders, due to their greatly enlarged spinnerets.

Habitat:

Seen at a small farm.
