Arizona Blister Beetle

Description:

5/8 - 1 1/4" Blue-black with dull orange head and pronotum. Legs are brownish red, tarsi blackish.

Notes:

We saw tons of this little guys on the Randall Henderson Trail in Palm Desert, CA. They were actively feeding on the native Brittlebush and other plants along the trail.
