Asiatic Pennywort, Water Pennywort

Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides

Description:

This vine was found wrapped around a metal railing. the leaves were all crumple up so it was hard to find out the shape but I think that it had a reniform shape but it seemed like it was shaped like a heart but not with crisp edges. The leaf margins were undulate and had netted pinnate venation. The vine had opposite leaf arrangements and the leaves were 3 cm in length and 2 cm in width. The leaves were hairy and rough and had smooth stems.

Habitat:

The Singapore American School rain forest where there was a lot of sun
