It's a medium sized brown bug. It has piercing and sucking mouthparts. These are pest, mainly they attack plants of Cucurbitaceae family. The eggs are somewhat flat and oval and is bronze or brown in colour.


This species was laying eggs on the surface of leaf of mattu gulla ( a variety of green brinjal grown in and around mattu village )
