Cithaerias pireta
Seen flying for short distances along paths, deep in the forest. This one flew a meter or 2 ahead of me, then flew back behind me for a meter or 2, over and over. Hard to get close to it.
Deep in the Selva Negra cloud forest.

Confirmation of this butterflies' name would be greatly appreciated.
Think I'll go with Cithaerias pireta. It looks the same as the one I saw in Costa Rica, if I have named that one correctly !
Any other comments welcome

Just love this pink
I agree it's pretty darn close
Thanks Jellis. I also looked at Pink Clearwing. Couldn't find one that really matched.
On a second look, Cithaerias pireta doesn't look too bad !

thanks Lauren, I think this little butterfly was playing with me. It kept flying around me, even when I moved on a couple of meters. It would settle on the leaf matter, but if I tried to get close to take a photo, off it would go, just out of range ! Eventually it tired and flew off into the undergrowth, but it was there in the same spot on the path, when I returned...
Thanks Christiane, Leuba and Despina for your nice comments.
How strange ! All my comments have disappeared...
this looks like from the citherias family. Thought Pink Glasswing but it doesn't have the black markings. Hope this at least helps someone narrow it down.
