Cyclosa sp.
Although this spotting probably does a better job showcasing its attractive web, an unknown species of lobed orb-weaver spider (Cyclosa sp.) is also featured. "Spiders of the genus Cyclosa decorate their vertical orb-webs with a band of rubbish made of remains of insects bound in silk. The spider sits in the hub and appears to be a part of the debris, thereby camouflaging itself." From "A Guide to Common Singapore Spiders" by Joseph K. H. Koh.
This spotting in a large semi-urban yard & garden situated next to a disturbed patch of remnant forest.
A good dorsal shot just wasn't possible due to the orientation and position of the web.
