Rosa
Deep yellow, copper shading, lighter edges. Moderate, tea fragrance. Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. The name of 'Rêve d'Or' means 'Dreams of Gold', and it really lives up to its name. The large (3" to 4"), loosely double, fragrant blooms are a wonderful golden-buff yellow shade, and repeat all season with particularly good spring and fall displays. The growth habit is mannerly, but vigorous, and the foliage is rich green and abundant, with sharp thorns. 'Rêve d'Or'was voted one of the greatest roses of all times by members of the American Rose Society.
Trained against a house.
