Dalmatian Pelican

Description:

Dalmatian Pelican seen fishing in the series 2-5. A fish got stuck in the beak and it was able to gulp the fish after a lot of efforts. The first pic is of a different Pelican. A vulnerable species as per IUCN, the Dalmatian Pelican is a massive member of the pelican family. It breeds from southeastern Europe to India and China in swamps and shallow lakes. The nest is a crude heap of vegetation.

Habitat:

Seen at Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary.
