The color of the tail was exactly my thoughts about this one being the green one, i.e. Nuna.

I just found another slight difference between the two species: In Lesbia nuna, only the last tip of the last tail feather is black. In Lesbia victoriae, all the tail feather tips are black, according to Ridgely and Greenfield. If that is true, then, it is Lesbia nuna.

There are two very similar species of Lesbia occurring here in South Ecuador: Lesbia victoriae and Lesbia nuna. I just checked "The Birds of Ecuador" (Ridgely and Greenfield), and apparently this is a female of one of these species, but both are so similar that it is almost impossible to identify it without watching the "flying habits" of the bird. Lesbia nuna fly more like a Woodstar (slowly and less direct). Based on such behavior I think it is Lesbia nuna.

By the way, I saw this hummingbird outside the city of Cuenca (South Ecuador), in the countryside.
