Brown and grey looking with some yellow-green. Several dark warty spots. Size when sitting as pictured, about 3 1/2 to 4 inches in length, width under 3 inches.
Found beside a building near a forested area.
Only 1 or 2 warts/dark spot, cranial crests not touching parotoid glands and habitat combined with phenology all point to American toad.
