Red-backed Poison Dart Frog

Ranitomeya reticulata

Description:

A very small, (1.5cm) and colorful frog from the rainforest of the peruvian Amazon, this specimen was found close to a creek , even that they are not tree frogs, they can climb trees. They are moderated in toxicity (not deathly)

Habitat:

According to the locals they are common, they could be found in secondary forest in good conditions and of course in primary forest ,
