Habitat:

Shallow schooling fish of clear warm waters, usually near reefs and sandy bottoms. Juveniles commonly found in surf waters off of beaches.

Notes:

Due to size, location, and it being alone I believe it was a juvenile. Seemed to be hanging out with a group of juvenile yellow goatfish.
