Description:

Adult individual captured while surveying herps at Gulf Coast Research Lab (released shortly after gathering information). Had some scarring- likely from male-male combat.

Habitat:

College campus- found under sheet of plastic.

Actually, looking closer at this, it appears to be a coal skink (still genus Plestiodon). Either way, it isn't a ground skink!
