Description:

Purple deadnettle, often mistaken for henbit deadnettle, is a herbaceous flowering plant native to Europe and Asia. It has been introduced in the United States, and is somewhat regarded as an invasive species, but it's all over the place here in Kansas.

Habitat:

Native to Europe and Asia and introduced/cultivated/invasive to North America.
