Desert. Spotted at the Biosfera El Pinacate y Gran Desierto de Altar in northwestern Sonora, Mexico. It is just south of Sonoyta, Mexico and Arizona, USA.

This is a classic red-tailed hawk, the belly band is a giveaway for that.
