Crimson Sunbird

Description:

A young male crimson sunbird. Beautiful crimson breast with, gunmetal grey back, yellow-olive wings and grey belly. Its head is red, topped with a ,metallic pine green cap. There are two blue lines, fringed with white flecs extending down from the base of the beak to the top of the chest. Beautiful crimson breast with, maroon back, yellow rump and olive belly.

Habitat:

Found on a road near a forested area where they are known to occur.

Notes:

This guy was on a busy road with a line of traffic approaching rapidly. I scooped him up quickly and snapped a few shots before placing him out of harms way on the side of the road.
