Duchesnea indica
Small lawn weed with trifoliate leaves. Its name is very apt, as it not only looks like a strawberry plant, but produces a similar, edible accessory fruit. Sources I found for it suggest this is purely coincidental evolution, though; this plant is a cinquefoil by lineage.
Shady lawn areas. This one appears on the north-facing lawn of an urban house where it gets little sun.
