This was a juvenile and could not fly well and was a little weak.

We took it to our local vet for a check up. It had no broken bones but was very weak and dehydrated. We took it home and kept it for a few weeks until it was strong and ready to fly. We released it back where we found it and we still see it occasionally flying between buildings at night.
