Kaloula pulchra
Generally chubby in form, the Asian Painted Frog will inflate itself when feeling threatened. It is easily identified by the thick, black-edged, light brown to orange band which extends from the head along each side of the body. The upperside is dark to medium brown and the underside pale.

Project Noah Fact of the Day: Many frogs employ a defensive strategy of trying to look bigger when threatened. They will inflate their bodies with air and stand up on their hind legs hopefully convincing the intimidator that they are too big to eat!
Asian Painted Frog, Chubby Frog, Banded Bull Frog, Rice Frog, or Bubble Frog (Kaloula pulchra) spotted in Nueva Ecija, Philippines by PN user Leana Lahom-Cristobal.

LOL @RolandEGauthier! These small creature sounds like a cow! I was not able to get information on the net if they are poisonous. But I noticed that when they are threatened, perspiration-like fluid oozes from their skin as they puff-up like a baloon.
I named him puff daddy...lol
hahahaha this is the same one lives in my bathroom all the time, when you try to touch it he puffs up like a balloon.. and makes a weird grunt sound...he sometime climb up the corner of my wall and goes on shelves above us...our bathroom also is a toilet for him, the corners seem to be his waste.. I always hear many stories they are poison, and not poison.....so i never touch him.. he so cute lol nice picture, i have many nice ones too,
