Non breeding plumage of this medium size shorebird. Grey on top and lighter underneath. Legs and bill are dark. White eye ring. Willapa bay is a stop over for their long distant migration.( If someone has a better ID please let me know) .
Spotted on the muddy shore at the Tokeland Marina as the tide was going out.
