Red Junglefowl

Description:

Rooster, I am told he is a Thailand species....he is about 2 feet tall, has a nice red crown, and lower flaps under the beak, the feathers have a few colors with an iridescent glow to it, nice tail feathers about a foot long, he is taller than most here and his feet or talons are more pick like....crows very loud and fast runner...

Habitat:

barn yard,pens,

Notes:

He passed away in december 2012 of bird flu with 50 other chickens i had...RIP old red.

This looks like a junglefowl rather than a domesticated chicken. They are native to that region.
