Beefly

Bombyliidae

Description:

At first looked like some kind of bee. But was hovering better then most bees do. Got swatted when it kept buzzing a fellow disker. After looking closer it looked more like a fly with a mouth stinger like a mosquito. Two tone wings. Kinda a creepy insect. Plz help me figure out what this is.

Habitat:

Wooded area with lots of oak and pine.
