Description:

A striking Emerald Moth with white bands and a mottled black and white pattern on the upper edge of the upper wings. The green scales of the wings vary with 2 or 3 different shades of green. The face, antennae and underside of the body are white. About 1 cm in body length. Family Geometridae.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
