"We are probably all familiar with the florist's cultivars of cyclamen, but have you ever seen one in the wild? This autumnal variety of the Common Cyclamen (Cyclamen persicum) is our Spotting of the Day. Cyclamen persicum is native to rocky hillsides from south-central Turkey to Israel and Jordan. It exists in two wild varieties: persicum, blooming from winter to spring, and autumnale, blooming in autumn".
