Leaf litter in forest
Agree with bayucca and Hannah, but i need to see de ventral view for an accurate determination.Greets
What size?
Elasmostethus interstinctus is indeed a candidate, but I would need a closer picture of the head/antennae and from the "tail" to be sure.
It wasn't particularly large. Right now my best guess is birch shieldbug (Elasmostethus interstinctus), but I'm terrible at IDing these guys.
Some kind of shieldbug for sure, maybe Giant Shieldbug
