Description:

This little brown-headed nuthatch was spotted in a pine forest. I heard him singing and then spotted him sitting on a dead tree. A gray back with a brown cap bordered by a black line that extends through eyes. Dull white chin, breast and belly. Female same as male.

Habitat:

In a pine forest at Crooked River State Park, St Marys, Georgia.
