White Wagtail

Motacilla alba alba(dukhunensis)

Description:

White bird with black pattern over parts of it's body. I'm not sure if this is the subspecies M.a.alba or M.a.dukhunensis, as this species was spotted south in France.

Habitat:

Toulouse centrum, urban

Hehe, indeed. I usually don't get close enough to capture birds with my camera. But this one was curious and didn't immediatly fly away, so I got lucky with this shot. I also noticed that some wag-tails in the city are eating bread-crumbs. I was under the influence that they were mainly insect-eaters, maybe an adaptation during winter?
