Spittlebug

Description:

This 5 mm long spittlebug had a bright yellow head and scutellum. The base of the wings seemed pale but they were a dark brown for the most part. A bright orange abdomen was partially visible through the membranous wings.

Habitat:

Spotted on a wooden bench near a reserve. The area had just had heavy showers.

Notes:

I am looking for an ID for this little hopper and any help will be grreatly appreciated.
