Hydnum sp.

Pale peach cap, white toothed underside. The stipes seemed to have little bumps. There were half a dozen of these scattered around this spot. In the third photo you can see a couple young ones coming up near the base of a more mature one. These mushrooms stain your hands brownish orange if you handle them. Hydnum washingtonianum or Hydnum olympicum.

Under some young Sitka Spruce trees among some thick moss. They were growing about 20 yards inland of the beach. Remote area in Izhut Bay, Afognak Island.
