Dubusia taeniata carrikeri
A wonderful kaleidoscope of color from this rarely observed carrikeri subspecies of Buff-breasted Mountain-Tanager (Dubusia taeniata), endemic to the Santa Marta Mountains of N Colombia. Extremely poorly-known this distinct looking (and vocally different) isolated subspecies certainly warrants further research!
