Mangora acalypha
Cricket-bat orb weaver (Mangora acalypha) is a small orb weaver that builds a very fine web. This spider can be found at the centre of its web as it has no retreat. Comes in different shades of yellow, red, orange or brown. The pictured spider was spotted in a prairie, near Volos city, Greece.
