Description:

Black and yellow Tiger Moth about 1 cm long. Family Erebidae, Arctiinae. A slightly different one was spotted in San Luis Potosí (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/174...). It has also been spotted in the highlands of Chiapas at 2,200 meters (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/136...).

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light, Finca Argovia, Ruta de Café, Soconusco Area of Chiapas, about 2 hours north of Tapachula.
