A fragrant plant, found in rocky places, phrygana and shrubs.

Habitat:

Globularia alypum is one of the best known "phrygana", along with Thymus sp., Cistus, Salvia triloba, Erica manipuliflora, Asparagus acutifolius, etc. Phrygana ecosystems are one of the main plant formations formed particularly in southern Greece and the islands, up to the altitude of 300 meters.
